How Does Marcus Thames’ Ass Taste?

May 18th, 2010

Let me start this by saying that I think the Red Sox will be back to the top of the AL East come July/August.  But I still thoroughly enjoy seeing them be nothing but mediocre and all this “sabermetrics” bullshit go down the tubes.

Also, Papelbon had like 19 straight saves before going into last night so I won’t say he “sucks” but it was still amazing seeing him get ROCKED last night.  To quote the uber-douche Shaq “Hey Papelbon?  How does A-Rod’s and Thames’ ass taste?”.

Bizzaro World?

October 15th, 2009

I really hope 2009 is not Bizzaro World for MLB AL Playoffs. I mean the Red Sox ALWAYS dominated the Angels and this year three ANGELS made the SAWX look like and NL team. And the Yankees have always gotten smoked by LA, so lets hope the reverse does not happen tomorrow.

Lets Go DODGERS.

Thanks El Nino for the Video

Will the real A-Rod please Stand up

October 7th, 2009

I love this time of year. The weather chills a little so I can now rock my V-Neck shirt with a nice blazer. The brisk air in the morning wakes me up and cool me down. The pumpkin beer and pumpkin muffins make their way back to Heartland Brewery and Starbucks, and of course the real A-Rod starts to play Baseball.

Alex Rodriguez in the Regular Season is like The Black Crows before Kate Hudson, They were a strong rock band, who could put out and album anytime they wanted and sell out any stadium, but then you realize that was a long time ago. Now the Black Crows have broken up, Kate Hudson has ruined another career (matthew mcconaughey) and A-Rod will begin do like he did in ‘05, ‘06 & ‘07 playoffs, which was a batting average of .133, .071 and a stellar .267 (I would put 2008 but of course they did not make the playoffs), with all of 1 RBI in 55 At-Bats during that time.

But hey, at least I can get the pumpkin muffin from Starbuck and read the back of the NY Post where it will say “Where has A-Rod Gone”, or “Not Again”… at least something similar.

Honestly is everyone in the American league shitting a colossal brick right now? Lets go over the team of the decades recent movements

  • Victor Martinez – umm WTF, this guy is amazing.. Really the Red Sox add a catcher/1B/DH and can come in and hit in the 3 hole
  • Victor Martinez – Did he catch a knuckleballer for the first time and not allow a p ball?
  • PAPI – “Victor, man, he just push me, man,’’ Ortiz said. “Every at-bat since he’s been here, he just get in my face and start screaming at me and everything. I like it, I really like it. He gets me in the mood.’’
  • ““Right before he went to the on-deck circle, I was telling him, ‘Come on, let’s go. Let’s do this,’ ’’ Martinez said. “He turns back, gives me a look like you can see in his eyes. He was focused. He was going to be focused in that at-bat”
  • PAPI – 21 HR’s since June 1
  • PAPI – HE”S BACK
  • Lester – Survived Cancer
  • Franconia 0 Chews Bubble Yum like it is going our of style
  • WAKE – Threw a GEM on one leg, talk about veteran presence

HERE WE COME NY.. Screw the Wild Card, we want the Pennant.

Wah Boston Fans…

August 24th, 2009

joshbeckettnyyfans21508

Why is it that whenever the Beckett loses Boston fans have to come up with some excuse?  Beckett is a great pitcher but every pitcher loses.  His last start it was because Beckett and Victor Martinez weren’t “flowing” and now last night it was because he is injured.  Deal with it Boston fans.

Also, what’s the deal with all this talk lately about pitchers not throwing good games because of their catchers?  First it was Beckett/Martinez then this weekend it was Posada/Burnett.  How much does it actually matter who the catcher is?  I am sure it can affect a pitcher, but that much?  I don’t buy it.  To quote El Capitan (who is playing out of his mind): “It’s up to the pitcher to throw the pitch he wants.”

You don’t want to fight me

August 12th, 2009

I love, love love love how people stuck a fork in the Sox already. Tom Verducci of SI.com said  the 4 game sweep the Yankees put on the Sox was the end game. The Yankees win the division. Hey, Asshole, it is August 12, and they Yankees won 4 games at home, there are still 7 games between the two teams, and 4 of those are at Fenway…

But the SAWX are back, and they are riding on the tail of YOUK, who looks scary as hell, to bad he didn’t back it up with a sick knock out punch.

A-Rod – “I leaked the Papi story”

July 30th, 2009

This is so obvious it is not even funny. Obviously A-Hole told someone that Papi and Manny were on the list, or at least I assume. But seriously, is today national shit of Red Sox Nation day, or is it just me? First this story, now we find out Pedroia’s brother gets convicted for blowing some dude and sentenced to jail for child molestation, what is next? Wally The Green monster lets A-Rod give him a reach around?

Lester Just gave up 4 runs in the 6th.. SOMEONE WATERBOARD ME

Pedroia’s brother gets jail time after child molestation conviction

WOODLAND, Calif. —The brother of Boston Red Sox second baseman Dustin Pedroia will serve time in jail after being convicted of child molestation charges.

Prosecutors say Brett Pedroia, 30, was sentenced to one year in jail by a Yolo County judge Wednesday after pleading guilty in April to one count of oral copulation with a minor. Prosecutors were seeking a sentence of eight years in prison.

Yolo County Deputy District Attorney Tiffany Susz says Pedroia’s sentence includes a suspended six-year prison term, with eight years’ probation. If he violates the terms of his probation, Susz says Pedroia will have to serve the prison term.

The brothers grew up in Woodland, a small town outside Sacramento.

An A-BOMB… by A-ROD

July 20th, 2009

Mariners Yankees Baseball

I have seen way too much Boston on this site and I need to start stepping it up for our Yankee Faithful.  With that said, I wanted to share a nice stat I read today.  A-Rod, who has played in 61 games so far this year, has 19 homeruns… great right?  Well, of those 19, 10 have either tied the game or given the Yankees the lead.  BAM!

After a SPECTACULAR start by Joba the Hutt yesterday, the Yankees are ready to rock for the second half of the season.  Twitering buffon John Henry better watch his team’s back.

AL East Standings – 3 Games Before Break

July 10th, 2009

If you have any tips, links, videos or anything that we may find amusing email us atsomeloosethoughts@gmail.com

YANKEES RED SOX

3 Games before the All-Star Break and the Yankees and Red Sox are tied on top of the AL East.  Assuming that neither team sweeps, we will be heading to the second half of the 09 baseball season with a 1 game difference in the standings.  This is when baseball gets just absolutely fantastic.  We can no longer say “it’s early”… we can no longer use injuries as an excuse… we can no longer say “don’t worry about it Sully, Smoltz will turn it around and be fantastic”.

So let’s just get through the pointless All-Star game and subsequent festivities and get ready for the second half of the greatest sport in the country.
