Season 4 of the greatest show on TV, Mad Men, starts this Sunday. Don Draper is single and has started his own agency. The possibilities are endless. The only beef that one can have with this show, via Kieran, is that it should be on HBO… for obvious reasons.

I am as big a fan of Twitter as anyone and I legit get mad when Twitter breaks and I see that stupid fail whale… but Drake and Jimmy Kimmel take that love to the next level. Drop it like it’s hot!
Aziz Ansari is a funny fucker. That’s the bottom line. He is hosting the MTV Movie Awards this Sunday (promo below) and that shit is going to be amazing. I highly recommend spending 20 minutes checking out his stand-up clips on Youtube. He will put you in stitches. He was also the funniest character on Parks & Recreation which unfortunately didn’t get renewed (I think)… too bad.
Today marks the first day of the first Subway Series of the 2010 series. As you may have mentioned, SLT took on a new blogger (Money)… and unfortunately he is a Mets fan. I really need to review credentials in more detail moving forward. Nonetheless, the Yankees are in a slump having just got swept in a 2 game series with the best team in the majors and a horrible splits with the SAWX. Down the 7 train, the Mets are… well… the Mets are the Mets. They suck.
With that said, I would like to propose a bet with Money. This is what I’m thinking:
For the most part, I think the Olympics is lame. Overly dramatized background stories couple with boring events is not my idea of riveting TV. Obviously there are some great moments in the Olympics, but the events like cross-country skiing, ski jump and the biathalon are so boring. This video is the only way I would watch this event but they could have made it much better by adding historical tensions to the mix. I would have made it MUCH MUCH more offensive.

1 – I think this is the funniest ongoing SNL skit and was the ONLY one from last Saturday’s show, hosted by Taylor Swift, that made me LOL more than once.
I have been on this blog 1,000s of times saying how MadMen is the best show on TV… ever. It is true and screw you if you don’t believe me. Anyway, one of the best characters is Roger Sterling. He is basically a womanizing asshole that doesn’t give two shits about what anyone things. So, he would fit in perfectly at SLTHQ. Enjoy.

Not exactly sure what the TV show’s (MTV’s Ultimate Parkour Challenge) premise is, but the videos are SICK and it is basically watching ridiculous people doing ridiculous things so I highly recommend it. Watching OTHER people do awesome things makes me feel better about sitting on my couch covered in crumbs from Bleeker St Pizza and/or (usually and) playing America’s favorite game “Who’s Hand is That?”.
