I really hope 2009 is not Bizzaro World for MLB AL Playoffs. I mean the Red Sox ALWAYS dominated the Angels and this year three ANGELS made the SAWX look like and NL team. And the Yankees have always gotten smoked by LA, so lets hope the reverse does not happen tomorrow.

For someone who batted .167 in the playoffs, Dustin Pedroia thinks that the Fenway grounds crew is to blame for the Red Sox loss:
“I’m not lying about that. That is true. I think about those things. That stuff upsets me,” Pedroia said. “My job is to take 1,000 groundballs a day. Other guys’ job is to get the field perfect so we can play baseball.”

On a lighter note, the Yankees are thinking about going to a three man rotation for the ALCS. That would mean CC could pitch games 1, 4 and 7. But, because of where the days off land that would mean only pitching on short rest once. This certainly helps the Yankees but in no way means this series is a lock. The Angles are a dangerous team… but not as dangerous as the Fenway grounds crew.
Honestly, how do Yankee fans wake u p and continue to root for the same team as this guy. How do you wake up and continue to root for a team with fans THAT WERE BOOING TEXERIA IN APRIL. Really guys? Hey congratulations on the Division, see you at the duck boat celebration in Boston in November!

See everyone always talks about the “Red Sox nation”, but to be honest with you we are one city, we are 1 New England. This is the difference between NY teams and Boston teams. i do not see A-Roid, Jeter, Mark Sanchez & Steve Avery getting stage at a concert together. But what you do see is Kenny Chesney bringing Tedy Bruschi, Mike Vrabel, Mike Timlin, Tim Wakefield and Jacoby Ellsbury on stage at a recent Gillete Stadium concert, and the place went bananas. hell I do not even see A-Fraud inviting any of his team mates out to clubs with him. He saves that for beat up 5 years past their prime celebritie girls.
Lets See, unlike the NY fans out there, I currently have three great teams to root for, so lets run it down from least concerned:
Red Sox (odds? who cares, we will win): Lester = Good, Beckett = Good, Papelbon = Good, Team = Good, Management = Good, Prospects = Good……………So in short everything is good
Bruins (+110) - HUGE game tonight. They are down 2-1 and at Carolina. Boston is by far the better team and I believe they will come out on win 4-1 tonight, with Goal 4 being an empty netter. Julian needs to get this team to play 60 minutes of hockey and for the love of everything good and holy please take Chara off line 1 of the power play
Celtics (+4.5, =/-) 189 - Prediction C’s & the OVER. Alston is out, who is covering Rondo? Pierce only played 16 minutes last game, so he is rested, Jesus will play great. Let D. Howard get his (20/20) and stop Turk & Lewis from shooting 3’s and we blow them out.

So today is Friday for me. I am off to Vegas to find the love of my life and ask her to Marry me 45 times, then hopefully get married, win the lotto the next day and spend the next 6 months hating her and then actually falling in love with her.. I feel like they could make a movie out of that.

Yesterday, as a Boston sports fan, was one of the best days I can remember in recent history
But the star of the Boston day night (besides Emily) was Rajon Rondo, who fought through a sprained ankle and had a triple-double of 19 points, 16 assists and 12 rebounds (7 offensive, really?).
So the Sox have come out of the gate rolling on all cylinders, everyone is batting great, pitching is fantastic and the revamped bullpen is exactly that..
But seriously the Sox have been anything but impressive through the first week. yes they played Tampa and Los Angela’s Angles of Anaheim in the State of California, USA, but you would hope not to go 2-4 through week 1. The entire team not name Kevin “I Can Grow a Sick Beard” Youkilis has sucked a big fat baseball batt. Youkilis has as many hits (12) as Jacoby Ellsbury (5 for 24), Mike Lowell (4 for 23), J.D. Drew (2 for 16), and Jed Lowrie (1 for 18) combined. (stole that stat from the globe)
Dice-K can still can not pitch 6 inning’s and is 1/3 of his way to as many loses as he had last year, but hopefully the next week facing Oakland (name 1 starter) and Baltimore will allow the Sox to get back on track. At least we know Beckett is still a hard ass.
HAHAHA, this is funny, I hate the Phillie’s and all their stupid, idiotic fans.. Yankee fans are like Phillie fans, only worse. They can not even do the Ring Ceremony right.

Honestly Beckett was outstanding yesterday. 7inn, 10K’s 2 walks and 1ER. That is exactly what the Sox needed. He was hitting the corners, his curve-ball was 79-81 and dropping off the table, fastball was 96-98 and tailing off, it was a very very impressive outing, something the NY Yankees can not say about their #1.
